Aspire is seeking a student intern with experience in computer software and hardware to help with various system setup, configuration, support and testing tasks. This is an opportunity to get real-world experience setting up computers and supporting users in a healthcare environment with a combination of Windows and Linux-based desktops and Open Office software.
Requirements- Good problem-solving skills
- Strong communications skills including:
- Ability to communicate clearly with end users of moderate experience level. Must be friendly and patient!
- Ability to clearly document procedures
- Good listening skills
- Experience with Linux setup and configuration (CentOS or RedHat preferred)
- Familiarity with Open Source software including especially OpenOffice 2.4 and Firefox
