Public-Private Collaborative Opportunity with Aspire Behavioral Health, Inc.The behavioral healthcare industry is undergoing many transitions, particularly in the public sector. While there have been advances in the reduction of stigma, increased awareness of brain disease and disorders, and vast improvements in the effectiveness of psychotropic medications, community behavioral healthcare organizations continue to face increasing funding challenges. In the current climate of Medicaid state waivers and capitated rates, many CEOs are faced with painful decisions to reduce staff and close effective programs. Visionary CEOs often search for creative opportunities to offset these uncertain fiscal realities.
Two of Aspire Behavioral Health, Inc. founders are former CEOs of Community Behavioral Healthcare organizations, and have a passion to ensure that community based centers continue to serve the most vulnerable, underserved citizens. Aspire Behavioral Health, Inc. has therefore created a public-private collaborative model to assist in this endeavor. This exciting venture offers a true partnership that creates a guaranteed annual income that will contribute positively to your clients, staff, and community, not to mention your organization’s financial health.
Aspire Behavioral Health’s mission is to provide medical and behavioral healthcare to older adults who are in acute psychiatric distress in a safe and caring environment. Aspire operates a medical teaching model and provides practicum and internship sites for psychiatric residents, psychology and social work interns, and other interdisciplinary healthcare students. Due to the dearth of professionals trained in the field of geriatrics, Aspire is dedicated to increasing the pool of professionals that can provide this specialized care. Our units are very similar to a Crisis Stabilization Unit, offering acute care on a 24/7 basis. The average length of stay for our patients is twelve days. For adults, age 65 and older, we treat the primary psychiatric disorder, as well as providing medical care on a subacute level.
The collaborative public-private model allows Aspire to contract with your organization for the following services: - Lease inpatient unit;
- Contract for ancillary services such as dietary, housekeeping, laundry, pharmacy and other pertinent services; Additionally, Aspire will provide your organization with the following benefits:
- Free In-Service trainings for staff development
- Corporate sponsorship for your fund-raising events
- Marketing plan for increased community recognition for your organization
- Media opportunities to increase visibility
- Collaborative grant-writing to increase your organization’s revenues
- Advocacy for behavioral care issues at local, state and national levels
We are firmly committed to collaborating with behavioral healthcare organizations and welcome the opportunity to discuss this rewarding partnership at your earliest convenience. I look forward to meeting with you to provide further information.
Sincerely, Philip Diaz, MSW Vice President and Chief Development Officer |
